Hi Fly has revealed the World's first cargo Airbus A380 superjumbo. Hi Fly added cargo capacity on the A380, by temporarily removing all the Economy seats, to create additional storage space for light consignments.

Lufthansa Technik reconfigured the aircraft for cargo operation to meet the high demand of cargo during COVID-19 pandemic.

Germany's Lufthansa Technik, Canada's Avianor, Hong Kong's HAECO and Belgium's Akka Technologies are among the popular companies carrying similar conversions.

Hi Fly’s Airbus A380 is an ex Singapore Airlines aircraft. The aircraft is equipped with 12 First Class Suites on main deck along with 60 Business Class seats on the upper deck and a total of 399 Economy Class seats.

The aircraft has 311 economy seats on the main deck and remaining 88 on the upper deck. Almost all of them have been temporarily uninstalled.

The Business class and First class seats remain installed. Only the economy seats have been temporarily removed. The cargo deck of the aircraft remains unchanged.
